پيپلامول pīplā-mūl S̱. (पिप्पलीमूल) s. m. The root of the long pepper-tree.

پارچه pārcha P s. m. A fragment, a piece, a scrap, a piece of cloth, a rag, cloth, clothing.

پـﮩراوني paharāʼonī S̱. s. f. (see پـﮩرانا) 1. A woman who dresses the guests at a wedding, a tire- woman. 2. pahirāwanī or paharāwanī, Vest- ments bestowed on guests at a wedding, dress, clothing.

پاڙا pāṛā H s. m. A quarter of a town, a ward.

پيبياهٿ pībiyāhaṭ S̱. (from پيب) s. f. Suppura- tion.

پهل بجهول phal-bujhauwal S̱. s. m. The name of a game (called also Mankelā): "think of a num- ber, double it, add ten to it, take five from it, &c. how much remains?" "twenty one," "the number was eight."

پهڙپهڙيا phaṛphaṛiyā H 1. s. m. A flutterer. 2. adj. Swift, quick.

پڙيا puṛiyā पुटी S̱. s. f. A parcel (of physick, &c.).

پياله piyāla P or pyāla, s. m. 1. A glass, a cup. 2. A firepan, or priming pan (of a musket, &c.). پياله بهرنا piyāla bharnā, To be puffed up with pride. پياله نواله piyāla niwāla, Food and drink (in the slang of debauchees). پياله هونا piyāla honā (in the phrase of faḳīrs) To die.

پهلي phalī S̱. (from फल) s. f. A cod, a pod (or the seed) of any legumi- nous plant, but particularly of peas. 2. A loop. پهلي کش phalī-kash, s. m. A hook for drawing the strings through the holes by which the walls of a tent are laced to the top.
