پوشاکي poshāk-ī P adj. Fit for making garments (cloth).

پنچادهياي panchādhyāʼī S̱. (पंचाध्यायी comp. of पंच Five, अध्याय Chapter, and ई with the sense of aggregation) s. f. The aggregate of five chapters of the Srī Bhāgavat, comprising a detail of the sports of Kr̤ish̤ṇa with the Gopīs.

پهونپهي phoṅphī H s. f. 1. A pipe, a tube. 2. Any thing perforated or hollow.

پوونون powanauṅ H (in Braj) v. a. See پونا ponā.

پوئيس poʼīs S̱. (पश्य See! lo!) interj. Ho! holla! (calling to people in the road to get out of the way), have a care.

پٿ paṭ पटत् S̱. s. m. The sound of falling or beating.

پروردني parwardan-ī P adj. To be bred or nou- rished or fostered.

پرچو parchau S̱. s. m. See پرچا parchā.

پيڙهي pīṛhī S (पीठी) s. f. 1. A stool, a chair. 2. A generation of progenitors.

پولا pūlā S̱. (पूल r. पूल Heap together) s. m. A bundle or truss of grass or straw. پولي تلي گذران کرنا pūle tale guẕrān karnā (lit. to live under a bundle of straw) implies a very destitute condi- tion.
