پٿکن paṭkan H (see پٿکنا) s. f. A knock, a fall. پٿکن کهانا paṭkan khānā, To fall down.

پهراس pharrās S̱. (r. स्फुर Start) s. m. The name of a tree. (Its leaves resemble those of the Cy- press or of the Tamarisk, and make a whistling noise in the wind; whence the name).

پرگهٿي parghaṭī S̱. s. f. 1. (प्रघटी) A mould in which silver or gold is cast previous to working it. 2. (corruption of प्रकटता) Apparency, clearness.

پورن pūran S̱. (or pūrṇa पूर्ण) adj. Full, filled, complete, perfect, accomplished, entire, total, exact, ripe. پورن پاتر pūrn-pātr (पूर्णपात्र) s. m. A vessel filled with 256 handfuls of rice given to the superintending priest at a religious ceremony. پورن پولي pūran-polī, s. f. A kind of bread. پورن کرنا pūran karnā, To fulfil, to ac- complish, perfect, complete.
