پنيا punyā S̱. (पुण्याह A holiday) s. f. The com- mencement of collection for the new year. (Used by landholders).

پيٿهنا paiṭhnā S̱. (प्रविष्ट Entered) v. n. To pene- trate, enter, rush or run into, pervade.

پٿهان paṭhān H n. prop. See افغان afg̠ẖān.

پٿها paṭṭhā H s. m. 1. A young full-grown ani- mal, a youth, a wrestler. 2. A sinew, a tendon. 3. A plant with long leaves.

پيٿ पेट peṭ S s. m. 1. The belly. 2. The womb, pregnancy. 3. The bore (of a gun, &c.). 4. Cavity, capacity. پيٿ آنا peṭ ānā, To be purged. پيٿ باندهنا peṭ bāndhnā, To eat less than oneʼs appetite demands. پيٿ بڙهانا peṭ baṛhānā, To eat voraciously; to en- croach on the share or rights of another. پيٿ بهر

پتنگا patangā H s. m. A spark. پتنگاهونا pa- tangā honā, To go rapidly about a business.

پهينکاو phenkāʼo S̱. adj. Requiring to be thrown.

پهيلنا phailnā H v. n. 1. To be spread, to spread. 2. To be expanded, dilated, diffused, scattered or dispersed. 3. To become publick.

پٿکانا patkānā H v. a. See پٿکنا paṭaknā, sign. 1.
