بهجنا bhajnā S̱. (भजन r. भज Worship) v. a. To worship, to count oneʼs beads, to adore.

بڙي baṛī S (वटी) s. f. A dish made of pulse. S̱. H. بڙي ميان baṛe mīyāṅ, s. m. An old man: Sir! (applied to an elderly man).

بيرق bairaḳ P s. m. Banner, ensign, colours.

بال پر bāl-par P s. m. Adoption of better habits. بال پرنکالنا bāl par nikālnā, 1. To turn over a new leaf. 2. To flourish or prosper. 3. To betray oneʼs evil disposition, to begin wicked pranks, to shew the cloven hoof.

برکهـ वर्ष barakh S or barkh or varkh̤a or varsh̤a, s. m. Rain; a year. See S̱. برس baras.

بانده bāndh बंध S̱. s. m. 1. An embankment. 2. Confinement, imprisonment.
