بادريه bādriya P s. m. A ventilator, suspended to the roof of a house, to increase the circula- tion of air and drive away flies.

بـﮩاو bahāʼo S̱. (from بـﮩنا) s. m. Flood, flow, flux, afflux, effusion, fluidity. S. بهاوت भावित (r. भू Think) bhāvit, adj. Thoughtful, anxious, apprehensive, alarmed.

باسر वासर bāsar S or vāsar, s. m. A day.

بيضوي baiẓawī A (from بيضه) adj. Fashioned in the shape of an egg. خط بيضوي ḵẖat̤t̤-i-baiẓawī, s. m. A form of the Persian Nastaﻌlīḳ charac- ter, in which the curved tails of the letters are segments of an oval: opposed to خط آفتابي ḵẖat̤t̤-i-āftābī, in which they are portions of a circle.

بهکشک भिक्षुक bhiksh̤uk S s. m. A beggar. See بهکهاري bhikhārī.

بـﮩنور bihnaur H (from بـﮩن bihin) s. f. A seed-plot, nursery (for plants).

بلبهـ ballabh S (वल्लभ) 1. adj. Dear, beloved. 2. s. m. A favourite, a friend. 3. A superin- tendant, a master.

بيڙيا beṛiyā H s. m. 1. The name of a cast of Hin- dūs. 2. s̱. dimin. of بيڙا beṛā, q. v.

بيپاري baipār-ī व्यापारी S̱. s. m. A merchant.

بهٿهي bhaṭhī भ्राष्ट़ S̱. s. f. A furnace, a kiln.
