بربري barbar-ī H s. f. A large kind of goat (from Barbary).

بـﮩتايت bahutāyat बहुता S̱. s. f. Abundance, plenty, multitude.

بگڙي bigṛī H (from بگڙنا) s. f. Spoil, damage; mis- understanding between friends, war, battle.

بهجنگا bhujangā S̱. s. m. A kind of shrike. (Lanius cærulescens. Sans. भृंग). بهجنگي اڙانا bhujange- uṛānā, 1. To be in great distress and poverty. 2. To spread false reports.

بغيچه bag̠ẖīcha P s. m. See باغيچه bāg̠ẖīcha. P.A. بغير ba-g̠ẖair, or بغيراز ba-g̠ẖair-az, Without, except, besides.

بهاکها भाषा bhākh̤ā S s. f. Speech, language, dialect. See بهاشا.

بانا bānā S̱. s. m. 1. (वर्ण Colour, class) Habit, profession. 2. Fashion in dress, peculiar to in- dividuals or to bodies taken individually (so, regimentals may be called bānā); uniformity. 3. A kind of weapon. 4. A veil. 5. (वाणि Weaving) The woof in weaving. باناباندهنا bānā bāndhnā, To be ready, to be determined.

بلي billī विडाली S̱. s. f. A she cat.

باب bāb A s. m. 1. A door, gate. 2. A chap- ter, section or division of a book. 3. Subject, head, affair, business, point, matter, reason, manner, mode, species, sort.

بهٿ भठ्ट bhaṭṭ S s. m. 1. A learned man. 2. A title of Mahārātta Brāhmans.
