بادامي bādām-ī P adj. 1. Almond-coloured, al- mond-shaped. 2. A kind of eunuch.

بـﮩنور bihnaur H (from بـﮩن bihin) s. f. A seed-plot, nursery (for plants).

بيت bet वेत्र S̱. s. f. A cane, a ratan. (Cala- mus rotang).

بکي bukkī H s. f. 1. A cloth brought over the shoulders under the armpits and tied behind. 2. A handful: see بکا bukkā. بکي مارنا bukkī mārnā, To pass a cloth under the armpits and tie it behind.

بچهو bichchhū वृश्चिक S̱. s. m. A scorpion, the sign Scorpio of the Zodiack.

بگ bag वक S̱. See s. بک bak. بگپانت bag- pānti, s. f. A row or line of cranes. بگ چال bag-chāl, s. f. Walking slowly (like a crane). S̱. H. بگ چهندالگنا bag-chhandā lagnā (باگهـ A ti- ger, and چهاندنا To tether) v. n. To be stu- pified or petrified with fear at the sight of a tiger.

بناپهر bannāphir H s. m. Name of a tribe of Rājpūts.

بل بکرا bal-bakrā S̱. (बलिवर्कर A goat for sacrifice) s. m. A person who dies in a battle, &c. without doing any thing.

بيوار bewār H s. (dakh.) See بيان bayān.
