بي be P a priv. particle or prepos. (Sans. वि) Without, out of. (When prefixed to words, it is equivalent to the English in, un, im, ir, dis, less, &c). بي آب be-āb, Without water, lustre, temper, dignity, &c. (see آب āb). بي آبرو be-ābrū, adj. Dishonourable, dishonoured, dis- graced. بي آبروي be-ābrū-ī, s. f. Disgrace, dishonour. بي آبي be-āb-ī, s. f. Want of water,

بختي buḵẖtī P s. f. A quick-paced camel (gene- rally used to ride on, and not for burthens).

بڙهيا buṛhiyā S̱. (from بوڙها) s. f. An old woman.

بلاس bilās S (विलास) s. m. Pleasure, delight.

بنا banā H 1. s. m. A bridegroom. 2. part. (of بنا bannā or بنانا) Made, prepared, having made, &c.

بهيٿ bheṭ H s. f. 1. Meeting, interview. 2. A present to a superiour.

بيندي baindī विंदु S̱. s. f. 1. An ornamental circlet made with a coloured earth or unguent on the forehead and between the eyebrows. 2. An ornament worn by women on the forehead.
