بهٿ bhaṭ भ्राष्ट़ S̱. s. f. 1. An oven, a furnace, a kiln. 2. Curse, misfortune. بهٿ پڙنا bhaṭ- paṛnā, v. n. To be cursed, to be unfortunate, to be lost (lit. to fall into the fire).

بلا billā विडाल S̱. s. m. A male cat.

بوجهـ bojh H s. m. A load, burthen. بوجهـ پکڙنا bojh pakaṛnā, To affect consequence or to give oneʼs self airs (generally spoken in raillery). بوجهـ سرپرهونا bojh sir par honā, is applied to a task the performance of which is become in- dispensable.

بنمانس ban-mānus S (वन A forest, and मानुष A man) s. m. A man of the woods, a wild man, an orang-ūtan.

بيگاري begār-ī H s. f. The act of pressing or forcing to work. بيگاري لينا begārī lenā, To take forcibly or press, with or without pay.

بهگتاٴي bhagtāʼī S̱. (from بهگت) s. f. Piety, devo- tion, religiousness.

بناوٿ banāwaṭ H (from بنانا) s. f. Make, inven-

ببور babūr S̱. (वर्वुर) s. f. The name of a tree of the Mimosa kind. (There are several species, but the commonest is Arabica. Roxb.) The acacia tree.
