بـﮩجت bahjat A s. f. Joy, pleasure, gladness, cheerfulness, alacrity, beauty, grace, excellence.

بيجها bejhā वेध्य S̱. s. m. A butt or mark for archers.

بانهـ bāṅh S (बाहु) s. f. 1. The arm. 2. Gua- rantee, protector or security (as, when a per- son trusts himself in the power of an enemy, a third person, who engages to return him to his house or fort in security, is his bāṅh). بانهـ پکڙنا bāṅh pakaṛnā, To protect. بانهـ ٿوٿنا bāṅh ṭūṭnā, To be destitute of friends or pro- tectors. بانهـ دينا bāṅh denā, To assist: see بازودينا bāzū denā. بانهـ گهنا bāṅh gahnā, To protect. بانهين چڙهانا bāṅheṅ chaṛhānā, To get ready, to prepare.

بطل bat̤l A s. m. Rendering vain, abortive or of no effect.

بهينسياداد bhaiṅsiyā-dād S̱. (महिषद्द्रु) s. m. A kind of ringworm. S. بهينکر भयंकर (from भय Fear, and r. कृ Make) bhayankar, adj. Horrible, terrifick.

بهنڐلي bhunḍlī H s. f. A kind of worm covered with hair, the palmer worm.

بستارنا bistār-nā S̱. v. a. To spread out, to extend, to diffuse.

بانبي bāmbī H s. f. A snakeʼs hole.

بستان bustān P s. m. A flowergarden. See بوستان bo-stān.
