هتهي hath-ī S̱. (from हस्त) s. f. 1. A brush for rubbing down horses with, or rather a hair glove. 2. A rubber.

هادي hādī A (part. act. of هديٰ Heb. ) s. m. A director, leader, guide (spiritual).

هنس हंस hans S s. m. 1. A duck, a goose. 2. (met.) Life. هنسگمني hans-gamanī or هنسگوني hans-gawanī, adj. Walking gracefully as the swan (a woman).

هولينا ho-lenā S̱. v. n. To be completed.

هرت हरित् harit S adj. Verdant. S. هرتا हत्ती (r. हृ Take by force, steal) hartā, s. m. A thief, a stealer, a taker away.

هونٿهي honṭh-ī S̱. s. m. The bit of a bridle.

هاپر hāpar H s. f. A seed-bed (or rather nursery) for sugar-cane.

هپ hap H s. m. Act of suddenly snatching with the mouth and swallowing. هپ جهپ hap jhap, adj. Quick. هپ جهپ کهانا hap jhap khānā, To eat quickly and voraciously.

هوتب hotab भवितव्य S̱. s. m. Predestination, destiny.
