نتيکرم नित्यकर्म्म nitya-karma S s. m. The constant or daily ceremonies of religion, the re- ligious duties which are of constant recurrence.

نيل بڙي nīl baṛī नीलवटी S̱. s. f. A lump of indigo. S̱. P. نيلک नीलक nīlak, 1. adj. Blue (stained or died blue). 2. s. m. One of the terms used in bīj gaṇit as we use the letters a, b, x, y, in algebra.

نخالص niḵẖālṣ H s. or adj. (dakh.) Deliverance, delivered: see خلاصه ḵẖulāṣa or خلاص ḵẖalāṣ.

نبهاڙنا nibhāṛnā S̱. v. a. (dakh.) See نباڙنا nibāṛ- nā, and نباهنا nibāhnā.

ناٿا nāṭā H adj. Dwarf, dwarfish, dapper, short.

نشيب nasheb P (prop. nisheb) s. m. Descent, declivity. adj. Sloping, low, hollow. نشيب فراز nasheb farāz, 1. Up and down; uneven, rugged. 2. The ups and downs of life. 3. Profit and loss, the advantages and disadvan- tages of any affair.

نانک nānak H n. prop. Name of a faḳīr, founder of the sect of Sikhs. نانک پنتهي يا شاهي يا نانک متا nānak-panthī, or shāhī, or nānak- matā, s. m. A Sikh, or follower of Nānak.

نمه नमः namah S aptote noun, Bowing, saluta- tion, obeisance, reverence.

نراجده nir-ā-judh S (निर् prep. आ prep. and r. युध Fight) adj. Without armour, imbecile, not warlike.

نرتانا nirtānā S̱. v. a. 1. (causal of نرتنا) To make dance. 2. To make pure, to clean.
