نرسون narsoṅ H adv. The fourth day past or to come, some days ago or hence.

نکهـ سکهـ nakh sikh S̱. From top to toe, or from the (toe) nails to the hair on the crown of the head.

نيلکنٿهہ नीलकंठ nīl-kanṭh S s. m. 1. Name of a bird. (Coracias bengalensis). 2. A name of Mahādeva. نکال nakāl A (from نکل Heb. and Aram. ) s. m. An exemplary punishment, a preventive, restraint.

نين nain S̱. or nayan (नयन) s. m. The eye. نين سکهہ nain-sukh, s. m. Name of a flower.

نراجده nir-ā-judh S (निर् prep. आ prep. and r. युध Fight) adj. Without armour, imbecile, not warlike.

ناله nāla P s. m. Lamentation, moan. ناله کش nāla-kash, adj. Lamenting, lamenter. ناله کشي nāla-kash-ī, s. f. Lamentation. ناله کرنا nāla karnā, To lament, complain, moan.

ناني nānī H s. f. Maternal grandmother.
