نوشتخواند nawisht-ḵẖẉānd P (from نوشتن To write, and خواندن To read) s. f. Epistolary correspondence, reading and writing.

نسچي निश्चय nischai S 1. s. m. Certainty, ascertainment; trust, belief, faith. 2. adj. Actual, real, ascertained, certain, sure, indu- bitable. 3. adv. Certainly, actually, indubi- tably.

نقير naḳīr A (from نقر Heb. and Aram. ) 1. s. m. A trough of a hollowed palm tree in which they make a strong wine of dates, &c. 2. The spot on the back of a date stone through which the young plant shoots; (hence) adj. Very small, of little moment, meanest. نقير وقطمير

نکسير naksīr S̱. (from नासिका Nose, and शिरा Nerve, vein) s. f. The veins of the nose. نکسير پهوٿنا naksīr phūṭnā, To bleed at the nose.

ناجي nājī A (from نجو) adj. Free, liberated, ex- cused, escaped, saved, elect. (Fem. ناجيه).

نشه nasha A. s. m. (or dakh. nashsha, s. f.) See نشا nashā.
