نہال nihāl P s. m. A young plant, shoot, sucker, sapling.

نواحي nawāḥī A s. f. plur. (of ناحيه nāḥiya, q. v.) Territories, environs, parts, tract.

نرخي nirḵẖ-ī P s. m. The person who fixes the price current, an appraiser, assizer.

نمانا nimānā S̱. (from निर् prep. and मान Mea- sure, arrogance) adj. 1. Simple, without guile. 2. Singular, unlike to all others, sheepish.

نيمبولي nīmbolī H s. (dakh.) A necklace of gold and glass beads. (Qanoon-e-islam).

ناقوس nāḳūs A (from نقس Chald. ) s. m. 1. A bell; or, rather, a thin oblong piece of wood, suspended by two strings, used by the eastern Christians to summon the congregation to divine service. 2. A kind of shell blown by Hindūs in divine worship.
