نروان निर्व्वाण nir-wāṇ S (from निर् prep. and r. वा Blow, go) adj. Extinguished, extinct.

نکلوانا nikalwānā S̱. (caus. of نکلنا) v. a. To cause to issue, to cause to go out or come out, to expel.

نکات nikāt A s. plur. of نکته nukta, q. v.

نده निधि nidhi S s. m. 1. A treasure of Kuvera the god of riches. 2. A treasure, any sum or quantity of wealth or valuables, a col- lection.

نسب nasab A s. m. Genealogy, lineage, family, cast. نسبنامه nasab-nāma, s. m. Pedigree, ac- count of descent, genealogical tree.

نيا nayā नव S̱. adj. New. نئيي سرسي naye sir se, adj. Anew, afresh. ¶ naiyā (from नौ ناو A boat) s. m. A boatman, ferryman.

نرلج निर्लज्ज निर् prep. and लज्जा Shame nir-lajj S. adj. Shameless, immodest.

نياي nyāʼe S̱. or niyāʼe (न्याय) s. m. 1. Justice, equity. 2. Reason, argument, disputation, so- phistry, logick. نياي شاستر nyāʼe-shāstr, s. m. Logick. نياي کرنا nyāʼe karnā, To judge, ad- minister justice, decide.

نيوتا nyotā S̱. (or dakh. nayūtā, see نوتا) s. m. An invitation, or the presents sent along with an invitation to the person invited, or made by a guest. See Qanoon-e-islam.

نردوند nir-dwand S̱. (निर् and द्वन्द्व Strife, dis- pute) Without quarrel or dispute, peaceably.
