نحسيت naḥsiyat A (from نحس) s. Unluckiness, inauspiciousness, abomination.

نتنب नितंब nitamb S s. m. The buttocks, posteriors of a woman.

نشا nashā A (from نشو or نشي) s. m. 1. Intoxica- tion, intoxicating liquor, a headach or crop sickness (from over-drinking). 2. Perception (of a good smell), fragrance, smell. نشا خور na- shā-ḵẖor, A person who takes intoxicating drugs, &c. a drunkard.

نکته nukta A (from نکت) s. m. A subtile or quaint conceit, point of wit, wise or pithy saying, a mystical signification. نکته پرداز nukta- pardāz, adj. نک nak S̱. 1. in compos. (for ناک nāk, q. v.) Nose; as, نک گهسني nak-ghisnī, s. Rubbing the nose on the ground in prostration, or by way of humiliation. 2. s. (dakh.) Nail: see نکهـ nakh.

نتيکرم नित्यकर्म्म nitya-karma S s. m. The constant or daily ceremonies of religion, the re- ligious duties which are of constant recurrence.
