نربل निर्बल nir-bal S adj. Weak, strengthless.

نخاس naḵẖḵẖās A s. m. A market for slaves and cattle.

نفير nafīr P s. f. A brazen trumpet.

نتهارنا nithārnā H v. a. 1. To pour. 2. To pu- rify water or other liquid by letting the feculent matter subside, and pouring off the clear.

نہلوانا nahalwānā S̱. (causal of نہانا q. v.) v. a. To cause to be bathed or washed.

نگت nigat S̱. (perhaps, नग्नाट) adj. Naked.

نارايني नारायणी nārāyaṇī S s. f. The wife of Nārāyaṇa or Vish̤ṇu. adj. Of or relating to Nārāyaṇa.

نبهـ नभः nabh S s. The sky, ether, atmosphere. نبهـ چر nabh-char (नभश्र्चर) What moves in the sky; aerial, a bird.

نمن निम्न nimn S adj. Low (ground), stooping, deep.

نوبت naubat A (from نوب Heb. and Aram. ) s. f. 1. A period, time, turn; access (of fever, &c.) fit. 2. Relieving guard, keeping watch. 3. An accident. 4. Opportunity, occasion, vi- cissitude, degree, pitch, weight. 5. Instruments of musick sounding at the gate of a great man at certain intervals. نوبت جهڙنا naubat jhaṛ- nā, v. n. To be sounded the naubat. نوبت خانه naubat-ḵẖāna, A guard-house. A. P. نوبتي naubat-ī, s. m. He who beats the نوبت naubat (as explained at signif. 5. above).
