ماهتابي māhtāb-ī P 1. s. f. A kind of firework, blue-light. 2. A sort of muskmelon. 3. (dakh.) Cloth on which are pasted devices of the hea- venly bodies in gold or silver. (Qanoon-e-islam).

منج मंजु manju S adj. Beautiful, pleasant.

مالتي मालती mālatī S s. f. Name given to dif- ferent species of shrubs. 1. Echites caryophyl- lata. 2. Jasminum grandiflorum. 3. (or مالتي لتا māltī-latā) Gærtnera racemosa.

متالم mutaʼallim A (part. act. V. of الم) adj. Grieved, sad, afflicted, pained, discontented.

مکوڙا makoṛā H s. m. A large ant.
