مشہد mashʼhad A (noun of place from شہد Heb. Ch. ) s. f. A place of martyrdom, a place of assembly, a tomb.

مشوره mashwara A s. m. (from شور) Counsel, consultation, ad- vice. مشورت کرنا mashwarat karnā, To consult or advise (with).

من گهٿا man-ghaṭā S̱. s. m. The raised masonry round the mouth of a well.

مشاهده mushāhada A (inf. III. of شہد Heb. ) s. m. 1. Sight, vision. 2. Ocular demonstra- tion. مشاهده کرنا mushāhada karnā, To look at, to contemplate, to view.

مقلوب maḳlūb A (part. pass. of قلب) adj. Turned, inverted, converted. مقلوب مستوي maḳlūb-mustavī, A word or sentence which may be read backward or forward as درد dard (or in English madam), a palindrome.

مولک maulik S adj. Of inferiour rank or cast among Kāyasths. (Beng. from Sans. मौलिक).

مشابه mushābih A (part. act. III. of شبه) 1. s. m. Resemblance, picture, similitude. 2. Proba- bility. 3. adj. Like, resembling, analogous. مشابه به mushābih-bi-hi, Likened to it, in com- parison with it.

مانون mānoṅ S̱. or mānauṅ, 1. (मन्य) Suppose, grant, as if, as. 2. māno (मार्ज्जार) s. A cat.
