مـﮩر mahr A (Heb. and Aram. ) s. m. 1. A marriage portion or gift settled upon the wife before marriage, alimony, jointure. 2. Con- tracting by writing for such settlement.

متسلي mutasallī A (part. act. V. of سلو Heb. and Aram. ) adj. Consoled, satisfied, comforted, condoled.

مادب muʼaddab A (part. pass. II. of ادب) adj. Wellbred, well-behaved, polite, respectful, re- verential.

ماوا māwā A (from اوي) s. m. f. Dwelling, abode, habitation.

موهنا mohnā मोहन S̱. 1. v. a. To fascinate, to enchant, charm, allure, delude. 2. adj. Fas- cinating, captivating, charming, winning.

ملنگي malangī H s. m. A salt-maker.
