مال māl A s. m. 1. Property, wealth, merchan- dise, goods, effects. 2. A prize (in a lottery, &c.). مال خاوند māl-ḵẖāwind, A proprietor. مالدار māl-dār, adj. Wealthy, rich. مالداري māl-dār-ī, s. f. Wealthiness. مال زاده māl-zāda, A son of a whore, a pimp or pander. مال زادي māl-zādī, s. f. A bawd, a whore. مالضامن māl-ẓāmin, A security (for property, or money, in opposition to حاضرضامن ḥāẓir-ẓāmin). مال مردم خور māl-i-mardum-ḵẖor, A consumer of the property of others; one who borrows and never pays. مال مست māl-mast, adj. Purse- proud.

محروم maḥrūm A (part. pass. of حرم) adj. 1. Prohibited, excluded. 2. Unfortunate, wretched, plundered, deprived, deprived of the support of life, disappointed. محروم کرنا maḥrūm karnā, To exclude, to prohibit, to disappoint.

ملوم malūm A (part. pass. of لوم) adj. Reproached, blamed.

ميان miyān P s. f. m. 1. A scabbard. 2. The loins, the waist, the middle. ميان بسته miyān- basta, Ready, prepared (for action), loins-girt. ميان تـﮩي miyān-tah-ī, s. f. ميٿنا meṭnā S̱. (causal of مٿنا miṭnā, q. v.) v. a. 1. To efface, erase, blot out, wipe out, annihilate, annul, cancel, expiate, atone for. 2. To thwart.
