ماجرا mājarā A. (comp. of ما What, and past tense of جري Happened) s. m. State, condi- tion, circumstance, an event, incident, occur- rence, adventure, accident.

مسانا musānā S̱. (causal of موسنا मूषण r. मूष Steal) v. a. To cause to steal.

مونڐنا mūnḍnā S̱. (causal of منڐنا or मुंडन) v. a. 1. To shave. 2. To instruct, convert or make a disciple of. 3. To wheedle out of any thing. الٿي استري سي مونڐنا ulṭe usture se mūnḍnā, To cheat one.

مدهري madhurī S̱. f. (मधुर) adj. Sweet.

معلوم maﻌlūm A (part. pass. of علم Heb. and Aram. ) adj. Known, distinguished, noto- rious, evident, apparent, obvious; (subst.) The active voice of a verb. معلوم کرنا maﻌlūm karnā, To find out, discover, understand, know, deem, suppose. معلوم هونا maﻌlūm honā, To appear, seem.

مينڐکي menḍkī S̱. s. f. (मंडूक) A frog; the rump of a horse. مينڐکي کو زکام هونا menḍkī ko zukām honā (lit. A frog having caught cold) expresses pride or consequential airs assumed by worthless persons.

مٿاٴي muṭāʼī H (from موٿا) s. f. Fatness, &c.: see موٿاٴي moṭā-ī.

معتکف muﻌtakif A part. act. (VIII. of عکف) Constant in prayer at the temple, or constant in devotion.
