مـﮩر muhr P or muhur, s. f. 1. A seal. 2. A gold coin. مـﮩربردار muhr-bardār, Keeper of the seal. مـﮩر کرنا muhr karnā, To seal. ¶ mihr, 1. s. f. Love, friendship, affection, kindness. مـﮩرانگيز mihr-angez, Love-exciting, friendly. مـﮩرکش mihr-kash, adj. Loving, affectionate. مـﮩرور mihr-war, adj. Friendly, kind. مـﮩرورزي mihr- warz-ī, s. f. Exercise or practice of friendship. 2. (Sans. मिहिर) s. m. The sun. 3. The name of a Persian month, in which falls the au- tumnal equinox.

متعجب mutaʼaﻌjjib A (part. act. V. from عجب) adj. Full of admiration, admiring, wondering, astonished, amazed.

مرجهانا murjhānā S̱. (मूर्च्छन r. मुर्च्छ Faint) v. n. To wither, to fade, to pine, to droop, to be dejected or dispirited.

مبرا mubarrā A (part. pass. II. of برأ) adj. Free, absolved, exempted, far removed from. مبرا کرنا mubarrā karnā, To acquit, to absolve, to ex- empt, to free, exonerate.

محشر maḥshar A (noun of place from حشر Heb. ) s. f. Day of judgment, a place of assem- bly. محشر خرام maḥshar-ḵẖirām, Exciting a commotion like that of the day of judgment by the elegance of her gait.

منتخب muntaḵẖab A (part. pass. VIII. of نخب) adj. Chosen, selected; (subst.) A selection.

مچرانا michrānā H v. a. To eat without an ap- petite.
