مـﮩينا mahīnā P. (dakh. mhainā) s. m. (from مه) 1. A month. 2. Monthly pay. مـﮩينا چڙهنا mahīnā chaṛhnā, To be in arrears. مـﮩينا دار mahīnā-dār, A monthly servant.

موسيقار mūsīḳār P s. A musical instrument made of long and short reeds set together in a tri- angular form, used by dervises or shepherds; pandean pipes: some say the word means a bird with many holes in its beak from which holes various sounds issue.

معصفر maʼaﻌṣfar A (prop. muʼaﻌṣfar, from عصفر) s. m. Safflower or bastard saffron. (Car- thamus tinctorius).
