لنڐيانا lunḍiyānā S̱. (r. लुट) v. n. To roll.

لوط laut̤ A s. m. 1. Any thing agreeable to the heart, an inclination, affection. 2. A cloak. 3. A man expert and expeditious in business. 4. Joining, bringing together (friends, &c.).

لٿکن laṭkan H s. m. 1. Any thing hanging. 2. Drops worn in the ears; a pendant, aigulet. 3. A fruit with which clothes are died yellow. 4. Name of a green handsome bird, which of- ten remains hanging by the feet. 5. A stand for water-pots. 6. The drops of a crystal lustre. لٿکن مـﮩبن laṭkan mahban (dakh.) A silk twist with two or four silk tassels suspended to it for a ladyʼs chonṭī or braided hair.

لوزيات lauz-iyāt A Sweetmeats in which almonds are mixed. A. P. لوزينه lauz-īna, s. m. A confection of almonds.

لڙک بدهـ लडकबुद्धि laṛak-buddhi S s. f. Child- ishness, the wisdom of a child.

لت lat H 1. s. f. Bad habits, whim, whimsey. 2. in compos. contract. of لات lāt, Kick. لت خور lat-ḵẖor or لت خورا lat-ḵẖorā, (1.) adj. Kicked, beaten. (2.) Contemptible, mean. (3.) (substantively) A slave. (4.) A threshold. لت زده lat-ẕada, adj. Of bad habits, vicious. لت کوب lat-kob, adj. Beating, cudgelling. لت کندن lat-kundan, Ignominious treatment. لت کهانا lat-khānā, To suffer a kick or beating. لت مردن کرنا lat-mardan karnā, To trample or tread on. لت مردن مين پڙنا lat-mardan meṅ paṛnā, To be trampled under foot or disgraced.

لرزش larzish P (from لرزيدن) s. f. Shivering, quaking, trembling, quivering, tremour. P. H. لرزنا laraznā (from لرزه) v. n. To shake, to quiver, to tremble, quake, totter.

لنبها lambhā S̱. (लम्बकर्ण) s. m. A hare, a rabbit.

لانپ lāmp H s. f. Bound, leap, spring.

لانگهنا lānghnā S̱. (लंघन Leaping, bounding) v. a. To overleap, to pass over.
