لاهوت lāhūt A s. Divinity, divine being.

لاوا lāwā लाजाः S̱. s. m. Parched grain.

لتهيڙنا latheṛnā H (causal of لته؟نا) v. a. To drag- gle or besmear with dirt.

لگ چلنا lag-chalnā S̱. To follow closely, to court friendship.

لدانا ladānā H (caus. of لدنا) v. a. To load.

لڙت laṛat S̱. s. f. (dakh.) Fighting, battle, war.

لوح lauḥ A (Heb. ) s. f. A plank, a table, a board (especially, on which any thing is written), a tablet. لوح محفوظ lauḥ-i-maḥfūz̤, The guarded table on which the destinies of mankind are written (according to the Muhammadans). لوح وقلم lauḥ-o-ḳalam, s. f. The tablet and pen on, and with, which the decrees of the deity are written.

لوتهي lothī S̱. (see لاٿهي lāṭhī) s. f. A staff, club (knotted).

لانپ lāmp H s. f. Bound, leap, spring.

لٿيرا luṭerā S̱. (r. लुट see لوٿنا lūṭnā) s. m. A squanderer, a prodigal, spendthrift, plunderer.
