لابه lāba P s. m. 1. A supplication, request. 2. Ridicule, irony, a jest, any thing facetious. 3. Flattery.

لنگري langrī H s. f. A large shallow pan, made of metal, and generally used to knead bread in, or at meals for serving rice.

ليجانا le-jānā S̱. v. a. To take away, to carry, to convey, to run away with, to export, to submit, to refer, to win.

لباڙ labāṛ H s. f. (dakh.) Plunder, plundering.

لسنا lasnā S̱. (r. लस Embrace, adhere: be skil- ful: shine) v. n. 1. To become, to befit. 2. To shine. Bihārī says:-- سکهي سوهت گوپال کي ار گنجن کي مال باهرلست هيي منودابانل کي جوال Sakhī sohat gopāl ke ur gunjan kī māl; bāhar lasat hiye mano dābānal kī jwāl. لـﮩکانا lahkānā H (causal of لـﮩکنا) v. a. 1. To warble, to quaver. 2. To cause to shine or glitter. 3. To blow up a fire.

لوکنا lauknā S̱. (r. लोक Shine) v. n. To shine, to glitter, to lighten, to flash.

لشٿم پشٿم lashṭam pashṭam H adj. Topsyturvy, with difficulty, with much ado.

لمبا lambā लंब S̱. adj. Long, tall. لمبا کرنا lambā karnā, 1. To lengthen, to extend. 2. To beat, to drub.
