لوهو lohū लोहित S̱. s. m. Blood. لوهو بيٿهنا lohū baiṭhnā, To pass blood by stool. لوهو پهٿنا lohū phaṭnā, To have leprosy. لوهو ڐالنا lohū ḍālnā, To spit blood. لوهو لـﮩان lohū-luhān, adj. Covered with blood, bloody.

لگانا lagānā S̱. (causal of لگنا) v. a. To apply, to close, to attach, to join, to fix, affix, ascribe, impose, lay, to add, to place, to put, to plant, to set, to inflict, to shut, to spread, to fasten, to connect, to plaster, to put to work, to em- ploy, to engage, to use, to impute, to report any thing in the way of scandal or malice. لگانا بجهانا lagānā bujhānā, To excite quarrels. لگا لينا lagā-lenā, To attach to oneʼs self, to conciliate, to win. لگا مارنا lagā mārnā, To ca- lumniate.

لکڙا lakṛā H s. m. 1. A hyena. 2. A large piece of wood. لکڙا لگنا lakṛā lagnā (dakh. i. q. محنت پڙنا) Toil or trouble to happen (?).

لجت लज्जित lajjit S adj. Abashed, ashamed.

لک luk उल्का S̱. s. m. A falling star. A. H. لک luk, s. m. Varnish. P. S̱. لک lak (लक्ष) adj. A hundred thousand.

للکارنا lalkārnā H v. a. To call, to bawl after, to halloo after, to challenge, to set up the war whoop. v. n. To bawl out insultingly.

لمن li-man A He to whom. لمن الملک li-man- a-l-mulk, He to whom is the kingdom or the sway.
