کهونٿا khonṭā H adj. Deficient, adulterated, bad (as, coin), false, deceitful. ¶ khūnṭā, s. m. 1. A tent-pin, a pin, a peg, nail. 2. Protection. کهونٿي کي بل کودنا khūnṭe ke bal kūdnā, To become insolent relying on protection. (The idea seems to be taken from a personʼs teasing an animal, which, being fastened by a rope to a pin, is unable to get at him: so that کهونٿا is only indirectly a protection by restraining the adver- sary).

گنت गणित gaṇit S s. f. Arithmetick, nume- ration. گنت کار गणितकार gaṇit-kār, s. m. An astrologer, arithmetician.

گندهنا gundhnā H (intrans. of گوندهنا gūndhnā, q. v.) v. n. To be kneaded, plaited, &c.

گور गौर gaur S adj. Fair-complexioned; s. f. A name of Pārvatī.

کاکلوت kāklūt H s. f. (dakh.) Desire, avidity, greediness.

کهورا khaurā P. (corrupt. of خورا) s. m. The rot (among sheep), the falling off of the hairs.

کهنکنا khanaknā H v. n. To jingle, to ring.

کندڙا kundṛā H s. m. A stack, a rick.

کلسرا kal-sirā S̱. (from काल Black, and शिरः Head) adj. Black-headed; s. Man.

گستان gastān H adj. f. A foolish, dissolute wo- man.
