کهوڙ khauṛ H s. f. The marks which Hindūs make on their foreheads with sandal wood, saffron, &c.

کپٿ कपट kapaṭ S 1. adj. Designing, insin- cere. 2. s. f. Spite, rancour, adulteration, fraud, trick, deceit, subterfuge. کپٿ روپ دهاري कपटरूपधारी kapaṭ-rūp-dhārī or کپٿ ويشي कपटवेषी kapaṭ-wesh̤ī, A hy- pocrite.

کلني kilnī H s. f. A tick (insect that infests dogs, &c.), doglouse.

کڙاکا kaṛākā H s. m. 1. The crash made by breaking any thing. 2. A rigid fast (in which nothing of food or drink has entered the mouth).

گوجري gūjrī गुर्ज्जरी S̱- s. f. 1. Name of a rāgiṇī or musical mode. 2. The female of گوجر gūjar, q. v. 3. Name of an ornament worn on the wrists and feet. 4. An earthen image re- presenting a milkmaid.

کٿهري kaṭhrī S̱. (from काष्ठ Wood) s. f. A small tub, trough.
