کمد कुमुद kumud S or kumad, s. m. A white esculent lotus, that expands its petals during the night, and closes them in the day time. (Nymphæa esculenta).

گنڐا ganḍā S̱. s. m. 1. (for गंड) A ring, a circle, a kind of horse-collar. 2. A knotted string tied round the neck of a child, &c. as a preservative against evil. 3. (for गंडक) Denotes the num- ber four.

کهپريل khaprail S̱. s. f. A tiled house, tiling, building of tiles.

گهگهيانا ghighiyānā H v. n. To falter, be unable to speak (from fear, joy, &c.), appear very humble, coax, wheedle, fawn, beseech, implore. H. S̱. گهگهي بنده جانا ghighī bandh jānā, To falter, to be unable to speak (from shame or fear, &c.).

گريان giriyān P (part. act. of گريستن) adj. 1. Weeping. 2. Weeper.

کلنگ kulang P s. m. 1. A fowl of a large breed. 2. A crane.

گد gud गोद S̱. s. m. (dakh.) Brain.

کهيت khet क्षेत्र S̱. s. m. 1. A field, a field of battle. کهيت چهوڙنا khet chhoṛnā, v. a. To flee from the battle. کهيت رهنا khet rahnā, or کهيت مين رهنا khet meṅ rahnā, To remain on the field (of battle), to be killed. 2. Ground. 3. A holy place.
