کهٿولا khaṭolā S̱. (from खट्वा) s. m. A small bedstead.

گران girān P (improp. garān) adj. 1. Heavy, important, momentous. 2. Precious, dear. گرانبار girān-bār, adj. Heavily laden, fruit-bearing, pregnant, wealthy. گران خاطر girān-ḵẖa- t̤ir, adj. Sad, dejected. گران مايه girān-māya, adj. Of great value, valuable.

گاڐرو gāḍarū S̱. (Sans. गारुड) s. A charm or mantar against venom.

کرکانا karkānā H v. a. To strain, to sprain, to break.

کهوندها khondhā H s. m. A birdʼs nest.

کچڙا kachṛā H s. m. An unripe melon. See کچرا kachrā, sign. 1.

کنوارا kuṅwārā कुमार S̱. s. m. A prince, heir apparent, a son, a child, an unmarried boy. See کنور kuṅwar.

گوڙيا gauṛiyā S̱. s. m. Inhabitant of Gauṛ; hence, the followers of Chaitanya of Nadiyā are so called. This philosopher flourished about the year 1407 of Sālivāhana. He was by birth a Brāhmaṇ; and, having become a Sannyāsī, maintained that the doctrines of the Vedas had been hitherto misunderstood, and explained them in a manner peculiar to himself. His sect is a branch of the Vaish̤ṇava or worshippers of Vish̤ṇu. His disciples in various parts of India are said to amount to five millions. His fol- lowers believe him to have been an incarnation of the deity.
