گانتهنا gānthnā ग्रंथन S̱. v. a. To lay bricks in mortar, to string, to put or tie in order on a string, &c.

گوينده goyanda P part. act. (of گفتن) Speaking, speaker. (Plur. گويندگان goyandagān).

کانت कान्ति kānti S s. f. Splendour, lustre.

گندک gandak S̱. (see گندهک) s. f. Brimstone. گندک کا عطر gandak kā aﻌt̤r, Sulphurick acid.

کارک कारक kārak S s. m. Case (in gram.). S. کارن कारण (r. कृ Do) kāraṇ, s. m. Cause, motive, reason, occasion, account.

گهرني ghirnī S̱. (from घूर्ण) s. f. 1. A pulley. 2. An instrument for twisting ropes. 3. A kind of pigeon, the tumbler. ¶ ghirnī khānā, To go round. ¶ ghurnī (from घूर्ण) s. f. A ver- tigo, swimming in the head, rolling. ¶ gharnī (for गृहिणी) s. f. A wife.

کندها kandhā स्कन्ध S̱. s. m. The shoulder. کندها دينا kandhā denā, To carry a dead body.

کايتهہ kāyath S̱. (Sans. कायस्थ) s. m. Name of a tribe of Hindūs.

گبر gabr P adj. A worshipper of fire, follower of Zoroaster, an infidel.
