قامت ḳāmat A (from قوم Heb. To stand) s. f. Stature, shape, form, figure, body.

قلعي ḳalaʼīﻌ A s. f. Tin. قلعي کشته ḳalaʼīﻌ-i-kushta, Calx of tin, putty. قلعي کهـلنا ḳalaʼīﻌ khulnā. The removing of the disguise (of any one) so that his real qualities appear. قلعي گر ḳalaʼīﻌ- gar, A tinner of pots. قلعي گري ḳalaʼīﻌ-gar-ī s. f. The business of tinning pots.

قابل ḳābil A (from قبل) 1. part. act. Receiving, taking. 2. adj. Possible, capable, worthy, fit, skilful, sufficient, able, clever, deserving. قابل هونا ḳābil honā, To deserve, to merit.

قبولي ḳabūl-ī A. s. f. A kind of food, rice and pulse boiled together.

قـﮩقـﮩ‍ه ḳahḳaha A s. m. Loud laughter, horse- laugh. قـﮩقـﮩ‍ا کرنا ḳahḳahā karnā, or قـﮩقـﮩ‍ه مارنا ḳahḳaha mārnā, To laugh heartily, to giggle.

قناعت ḳanāʼaﻌt A (improp. kināʼaﻌt, from قنع) s. f. 1. Content, tranquillity. 2. Abstinence. قناعت کرنا ḳanāʼaﻌt karnā, To be content (on).
