قايل ḳāʼịl A part. act. (of قول) 1. Saying, sayer, assertor; confessing, confessor, consenting, agreeing, acknowledging, giving up a point, owning. 2. adj. Subdued, confuted. قايل کرنا ḳaʼịl karnā, To confute, to convince, to convict. قايل هونا ḳaʼịl honā, To acquiesce, acknowledge, confess, consent, assent, to own, yield. (Plur. قاٴيلين ḳāʼịlīn).
