قد ḳadd A s. m. Stature. قد آور ḳadd-āwar, adj. Tall. قد خم کرنا ḳadd ḵẖam karnā, v. a. To bow down. قد خميده ḳadd-ḵẖamīda, Bent in stature. قد دار ḳadd-dār, Of fine stature. قد کش ḳadd-kash or قد کشيده ḳadd-kashīda, adj. Tall and straight of stature. قد کشي ḳadd- kash-ī, s. f. قطره ḳat̤ra A s. m. A drop (plur. قطرات). قطره زن ḳat̤ra-zan, or قطره زنان ḳat̤ra-zanān, adj. Drop-striking; cantering, going quick on the road, running hard.

قاصد ḳāṣid A (part. act. of قصد) s. m. A courier, an express, a messenger, envoy, postman.

قلمقاني ḳilmaḳānī H s. f. A female armed atten- dant on a lady (perhaps a Calmuck).

قلعي ḳalaʼīﻌ A s. f. Tin. قلعي کشته ḳalaʼīﻌ-i-kushta, Calx of tin, putty. قلعي کهـلنا ḳalaʼīﻌ khulnā. The removing of the disguise (of any one) so that his real qualities appear. قلعي گر ḳalaʼīﻌ- gar, A tinner of pots. قلعي گري ḳalaʼīﻌ-gar-ī s. f. The business of tinning pots.
