فريب fareb P (prop. fireb, from فريفتن or فريبيدن) 1. s. m. Deceit, trick, deception, fraud, allurement. 2. part. act. (in compos.) Cheating, deceiving; as, مردم فريب mardum-fareb, Betraying men. فريب آميز fareb-āmez, adj. Deceitful. فريب خورده fareb-ḵẖụrda, adj. Deceived. فريب دينا fareb denā, To deceive, delude, allure, cheat, defraud, cozen, beguile. فريب کار fareb-kār, adj. Deceitful. فريب کهـانا fareb-khānā, To be deceived or deluded.

فضلا fuẓalā A s. plur. (of فاضل) The excellent, the learned.

فتق fatḳ A (from فتق To cleave, to split, to open) s. m. A rupture or hernia.

فطرت fit̤rat A s. f. 1. Wisdom, sagacity, cun- ning. 2. Nature, creation, form. 3. Deceit, trick. 4. Alms given on the عيد الفطر īﻌdu-l-fit̤r. فطرت لڙانا fit̤rat laṛānā, v. a. (vulg.) To practise tricks or stratagems, to cheat, to shuffle.

فجر fajr A (orig. in cleaving, splitting or breaking; as the dawn breaks through the darkness. Hence also Heb. To be weak or wearied, fractis viribus) s. f. (dakh. s. m.) Morning, dawn of day, early. بڙي فجر baṛī fajr, Early dawn, early in the morning.
