طول t̤ūl A 1. s. m. Length, longitude; prolixity, diffusiveness. طول حرف t̤ūl-i-ḥarf, or طول سخحن t̤ūl-i-suḵẖan, or طول کلام t̤ūl-i-kalām, Prolixity, length of discourse, circumlocution, many words. 2. adj. Long, tall, extensive, lasting long.

طبيعت t̤abīʼaﻌt A (from طبع) s. f. Genius, na- ture, disposition, temperament, constitution, es- sence, property. طبيعت شناس t̤abīʼaﻌt-shinās, s. m. A physician.

طالب t̤ālib A part. act. (of طلب) 1. Asking, de- manding, interrogating. 2. s. m. An inquirer, a seeker, a lover, asker, candidate, exacter. طالب دنيا t̤ālib-i-dunyā, Worldly-minded. طالب علم t̤ālib-i-iﻌlm, Searching after knowledge, a student. طالب علمي t̤ālib-i-iﻌlm-ī, or طالب العلمي t̤ālibu-l-iﻌlm-ī, s. f. طراري t̤arrārī A. s. f. Quickness, fluency. A. P. طراز t̤irāz (or t̤arāz) s. m. 1. Lace, fringe, embroidery, &c. any ornament on the border of a garment. 2. Manner, form. 3. part. act. (from طرازيدن) in compos. Adorning, ornamenting with needlework.

طوايف t̤awāʼịf A s. f. plur. (of طايفه) People, nations, troops, bands (particularly, of dancing girls).

طلف t̤alf A s. m. A gift.
