سنکٿ संकट sankaṭ S s. m. Vexation, misfor-

سہج सहज sahaj S adj. Easy, not difficult, fa- cile; adv. Easily. سہج سبهاوهي sahaj-subhāw- hī, With natural ease.

سنگتي sangat-ī S̱. s. m. f. Companion, comrade.

ساننا sānnā H (caus. of سننا sannā, q. v.) v. a. To knead, to mix up (flour, dough, earth, &c.), to impregnate, stain, soil, smear, defile.

سنپات sanpāt S or सन्निपात sannipāt, s. m. The name of a disease in which the body is seized with universal chilliness, Deliquium. (It is explained by the Hindū physicians to be that, in which the three humours, bile, phlegm, and atrabilis are corrupted).

سونٿهوراي sonṭhūrāʼe S̱. adj. Hard, miserly. (A ludicrous expression, q. d. chief of misers).

سابدهان sābadhān S adj. Attentive, cautious, with attention. See ساودهان sāvadhān.

سياها siyāhā P. (for سياهه) s. m. An account-book or written account, a list, inventory.

سکي اڙانا sukke uṛānā S̱. (dakh. i. q. نا اميد کرنا nā ummed karnā) To render hopeless (?).

سبحاني subʼḥān-ī A adj. Of God, divine.
