ساجنا sājnā सज्जना S̱. 1. v. a. To prepare, dress, decorate, bedeck, regulate. 2. v. n. To become, fit, suit.

ساکهي sākhī साक्षी S̱. s. m. An evidence, a witness, an eyewitness.

سگا sagā S̱. or saggā (स्वकीय) 1. adj. Related (of the same parents), full, own; as, سگا بهاٴي sagā bhāʼī, Own brother. 2. A relative, akin. 3. s. m. Kin. 4. (dakh.) Friend, intimate.

سنتوکهہ संतोष सं prep. and r. तुष Be pleased santokh̤ S. (or santosh̤) s. m. Content, patience, sa- tiety, satisfaction, pleasure, gratification. سنتوکهہ کرنا santokh̤ karnā, To be patient, to be content.

سالو sālū S̱. (from शालु Red) s. m. A kind of red cloth (dyed with Morinda).

سموات samawāt A (for سماوات) s. plur. (of سما) Skies.

سنديہي संदेही sandeh-ī S adj. Doubtful, scru- pulous, distrustful, suspicious.

سکارنا sakārnā स्वीकरण S̱. v. a. To accept (a bill of exchange, &c.).

ساتو sāt-o S̱. adj. (dakh.) The seven. ساتومون سراهنا sāto mūṅ sarāhnā (or سرانا sarānā) To praise much.

سيلوان शीलवान् sīl-wān S adj. Of good or amiable disposition, benevolent, well-conducted.
