سيتهہ sīth सिक्थ S̱. s. m. boiled rice, or rice sowins, or gruel.

سيت set S̱. 1. (श्वेत) adj. White. سيتديپ set-dīp (श्वेतद्वीप) The white island or a minor division of the universe so called, and supposed by Wilford to be Britain. 2. (for सेतु) s. m. A bridge.

سنگيني sangīn-ī P s. f. 1. A load. 2. Solidity.

سمت samt A (improp. simt) s. f. A way, path, a part, side, quarter, towards. سمت الراس samtu-r-rās, The point of the heavens directly over-head, hence improperly called Zenith. ¶ simat, A mark (especially, made by burning).

Ease, tranquillity, easy circumstances, content, happiness. سکهہ باس (सुखवास) sukh-bās, Abode of happiness. سکهہ پال sukh-pāl, A kind of pālkī. سکهہ پانا sukh pānā, To get ease, leisure, rest, &c. سکهہ چين sukh-chain, s. m. Ease, rest, leisure, tran- quillity. سکهہ دان सुखदान sukh-dān, s. m. Giving of ease or of comfort or of content. سکهہ داٴي sukh-dāʼī, adj. Ease-affording, com- forter, giver of ease. سکهہ دايک सुखदायक sukh-dāyak, adj. Giver of ease or content. سکهہ دهام सुखधाम sukh-dhām, Abode of happiness, &c.

سوتلي sūtlī S̱. (from सूत्र) s. f. String, twine.

ساس sās P s. m. A bug.

سانگيت sāngīt S̱. s. m. See سنگيت sangīt.
