سر sur S s. m. 1. (सुर) A god, a deity. 2. (for स्वर) Tone, melody, accent, song, note. سرملانا sur milānā, To sing in tune. ¶ sar (शर) 1. An arrow. 2. A reed of which ar- rows are made. (Saccharum sara: Roxb.). سرسادهنا sar sādhnā, v. a. To prepare to shoot an arrow. 3. (for सरः) A pond, a tank.

سبهاپت सभापति sabhā-pati S s. m. Chief or president of an assembly.

سابدهان sābadhān S adj. Attentive, cautious, with attention. See ساودهان sāvadhān.
