سبقت sabḳat A (from سبق) s. f. Getting before, outstripping, surpassing, preceding, excellence, aggression. سبقت کرنا sabḳat karnā, To get before, to outstrip or precede, to surpass, to advance.

سبحان subʼḥān A s. m. Praising, glorifying (God). سبحان الله subʼḥāna-llāh, interj. O God! O holy God! Good God! Ha! سبحانه subʼḥāna-hu, Praise to him!

سوها sūhā शोण S̱. 1. adj. Red, crimson. 2. s. m. Name of a rāg or musical mode. سوها کسمبها sūhā-kusumbhā, Red as the die of saf- flower.
