انک ank S अंक (r. अंक Mark) s. m. Mark, spot, figure, number; letter of the alphabet, mark on cloth to shew the price, flank or part above the hip, embrace.

اٿکا aṭkā H 1. s. m. The pot in which victuals are dressed for the publick at the door of the tem- ple of Jagannāth. 2. part. past. (of اٿکنا) Aground, stopped, hindered.

اونچا ūnchā उच्च S̱. adj. High, tall, lofty, above, steep, loud. اونچابول بولنا ūnchā bol bol- nā, To speak with pride. اونچاسنا ūnchā sunnā, To be hard of hearing. اونچاکاني ūnchā-kān-ī, s. f. Deafness. اونچي بول کامنهـ نيچا ūnche bol kā muṅh nīchā, The proud ones are degraded.

آکلي āklī S̱. (आकुल Agitated) s. f. Motion, agitation (especially, of a carriage).

اوچهـ auchh H s. m. Name of a root from which an orange colour is extracted. (Morinda ci- trifolia).

ابدهوت abdhūt S̱. s. m. (अवधुत) One devoted to God but not attending on ceremonies; a kind of Hindū devotee who worships Siva.

اپشبد अपशब्द apa-shabd S s. m. A disagree- able sound, wind broken backwards, ungram- matical language.

اوکنا oknā H v. n. To vomit.

اوني پوني aune paune H adv. More or less.

اجڙنا ujaṛnā S̱. (उत् and जटा A fibrous root) v. n. To become desolate.
