سند sanad A s. f. 1. Signature, a deed, a grant, a diploma, the seal of a magistrate, a warrant. 2. A prop; any thing on which one leans, or is supported; a document or proof, argument, au- thority, certificate. 3. Relation, connexion. سند مطابق sanad-mut̤ābiḳ, The counterpart of a grant, &c. the order to put it in execution.

Exaltation, eminence. سربمـہر sar ba-muhr, adj. Sealed. سرپيچ sar-pech or سرپيش sar-pesh, s. m. An ornament worn in the turband. سرتاج sar-tāj, A chief. سرتيز sar-tez, adj. Sharp-pointed. برسرحساب bar-sar-i-ḥisāb, On right terms, agreed. سرخود sar-ḵẖụd, adj. Independent, being oneʼs own master. سرخوش sar-ḵẖụsh, adj. Cheer-

ستکار सत्कार satkār S s. m. 1. Doing good, a pious action, rewarding, respect. 2. (Beng. for संस्कार) Burning the dead.
