Tabula rasa) adj. Artless, simple, stupid; simpleton. ساده لوحي sāda-lauḥ-ī, s. f. Artlessness, simplicity, stupi- dity. ساده وضعي sāda-waẓ-īﻌ, s. f. Artlessness, simplicity, stupidity.

سسرال susrāl S̱. (श्वशुरालय) s. f. Father-in-lawʼs house or family.

سمدهيانا samdhiyānā S̱. s. m. The family of a childʼs father-in-law.

سيولي sīwlī S̱. (Beng. from سينا To stitch) s. m. Name of a cast, whose business it is to draw juice from the date or tāṛ trees, &c.

سمسار samsār S̱. s. (dakh.) See کنبا kumbā.

سانس sāṅs श्वास S̱. s. f. Breath, sigh. سانس الٿي ليني sāṅs ulṭī lenī, To gasp or draw in the breath (as, a person in agony). سانس بهرنا sāṅs bharnā, To sigh, to regret. سانس رکنا sāṅs ruknā, To be smothered or throttled. سانس روکنا sāṅs roknā, v. a. To suffocate, stifle.
