سمٿنا simaṭnā H v. n. To be concentrated, to shrink, to be contracted or drawn together, to shrivel.

سلوانا silwānā S̱. (caus. of سينا) v. a. To cause to sew or stitch. ¶ sulwānā (caus. of سونا) v. a. To cause to put to sleep.

سريشٿهہ श्रेष्ठ sresh̤ṭh S adj. superl. Best, excel- lent, most excellent, preeminent. H. A. سريصاف sirī-ṣāf, s. A kind of muslin.

سرو sarv P (or saro) s. m. The cypress tree. سرواندام sarv-andām, adj. Having a body graceful as the cypress. سروقد sarv-ḳadd, or سروقامت sarv-ḳāmat, adj. Cypress-like in stature; tall and graceful. سروروان sarv-i-rawān, A moving cypress; a sweetheart moving gracefully.
