زپاٿا zapāṭā H s. (dakh. i. q. آوازپر) Sound of a wing (?).

Conceited, too vain of self. زياده سري ziyāda-sar-ī, s. f. Self-conceit, the having too high an opinion of self. زياده طلب ziyāda- t̤alab, Extortioner. زياده طلبي ziyāda-t̤alab-ī, s. f. Seeking more or too much, ambition, covetuousness, extortion, imposition. زياده کرنا ziyāda karnā, 1. To augment, to increase. 2. (met.) To take away the dinner and tablecloth. زياده هونا ziyāda honā, To exceed, to surpass.

زود zūd P adv. Quick, swift, soon, suddenly. زود رنج zūd-ranj, adj. Irascible, soon irritated.

زدني zadan-ī P (from زدن To strike) adj. Fit or deserving to be stricken, killed, &c.

زربفت zar-baft P. (زر Gold, and بفت from بافتن To weave) s. m. Brocade, cloth of gold.
